On Saturday May 26, 2007 Deborah and Irma hosted a pot luck for the lesbian and gay caucus at their home in Surrey. It was a great time for members of the caucus to socialize and get to know each other. Sunny day... great food... interesting conversation.

June 7-8, 2007 the new Lesbian and Gay Standing Committee had it's first meeting since being elected at the HEU Equity conference. The meeting was extremely productive and lots of great ideas came forward. Good news is that funding has been restored for the Pride Pages and the Committee approved a new format for the publication. Education and outreach emerged as top priorities for the work of the Committee.
